A lot has been happening since my last post.  We are going through a transition in  ministry and in life.  One area we have always wanted to serve in is feeding people who are living on the streets or don't have enough money to feed their family!  We have shared our heart with a fellow minister and now he and his wife are coming along side of us to help see this come to pass.  They in return have talked to another Pastor who has a church in the area we are going into and has offered us the usage of that building and wants to be apart too.  Praise the Lord!  God is opening the door to be able to minister to people on the street.  It is amazing at the people God puts in your path everyday, that are sent there to help you accomplish what He has asked you to do.  Are you looking for your help daily?
     They say a way to a person heart is through their stomach, so we are going to be God's hands extended and go and fee d those in need.  We are trying to have a start date of either late July or first of August.  God is opening doors for donations of food so we can make the food and then take the food out!
     Jesus showed a perfect example of servant hood in John 21, when after He had received His glorified body, He actually showed Himself for the 3rd time to the disciples and cooked them breakfast. Think about it, the Son of God, took time to cook breakfast for His boys.  Wild!! In this chapter He asks Peter, "Peter do you love Me?"  Peter answered, "You know I do."  Then Jesus said, "Feed My sheep."  We are taking this to heart and will feed not only their physical body but their spiritual one too.

Just sitting and giving God all the praise and honor He deserves for everything He has given us!  I think that life is too short and the days go by so quickly, that we need to be reminded to take a moment and look around.  Look around and see just what God has done!  If you take into consideration that it is He who gives us our next breath, our next heart beat, our next everything, then you cannot help but get excited and realize that every problem you are facing, every situation that is coming against you, fails in comparison to the awesomeness of God!  We will have times of stormy weather, but instead of asking God to get you out of the storm, ask Him what He is trying to show you in the midst of it.  God said He would not allow you to go through something He did not already know you could handle, so if He is takiing you through something and He knows that you can handle it and will make it through, then stop and ask God, "What are You trying to show me in this? "  You will be amazed at the peace that comes over you enabling you to stand in His peace and His presence even when all hell is breaking loose around you.  So today, loved ones, take a moment, look around, and thank Him!!!

A few weeks ago, Pastor Rob was sharing with friends about what god has been doing in his and Melissa's life, speaking about the knowledge they have the God WILL provide for them financially.  Some of the things Pastor Rob passed on  to these friends were from the book he's been reading, "Qualities of a Spiritual Warrior," by Graham Cook.  Two separate times these individuals we moved by God to take all they had to sow into the ministry of Life in Christ Outreach!  Praise the Lord, HE is the Provider!  The rain is coming!!
And in the end days the latter rain will be greater than the former rain!  Jerimiah 5:24
