Upcoming Events:
July - August 2010
We have been in prayer about going out into the streets of our local area, in Warner Robins, GA., to minister to the homeless in our community. A few local ministries will be partnering with us to go out and feed those in need and in doing so we will bring the Love of Jesus to them not only in Word but in action. We would like to begin with a feeding outreach once a week and eventually if the Lord will open the doors, we would like to put together care packages that will include basic hygene products such as toothbrush and toothpaste, sanitary/personal cleaning wipes, diapers, female products, deodorant, simple first aid kits, non-parishable foods, etc...
How many times have we all wished we could do something to reach out to others, but don't know exactly how to go about it? Robert and I have had the same questions and reservations over the years, that is, until now.  In recent years I have adopted a saying to hold myself accountable: "good intentions don't get the job done!"  Another way of saying it is, "faith without works is dead."
One person's faith in action can make a difference, but many of us working together can make a huge impact upon our community and on the world!  So, if you would like to be a part of this outreach in any way, whether by being a strong prayer support or would like to donate finances or supplies, even if you can join us by volunteering in the mission feild, please contact us so we can hear what the Lord is saying to you. We are open to hearing about ideas you may have to help further the Kingdom of God! Lets pull our resources together and BE His Love extended!
